Hip and Handmade Holiday Gift Show at the Indy Airport & Breakfast with Santa December 9, 2009

This Friday I will be participating in the Hip and Handmade Holiday Gift show at the airport from 3pm-6pm. I will also be there next Friday as well. I know you probably won’t drive all the way out to the airport to see me, but I’m looking forward to the 4-6,000 people who fly out on a Friday walking past my booth. Tell any one you know flying in or out to top by and say hi on Friday.  I’ll let you know how it goes.

Saturday I will be at the J.S. Reutz Artist Cafe from 9am to 12noon at the Boner Center on the near East Side (10th and Jefferson). Breakfast with Santa Buffet is $5 for the kiddos and $8 for adults. You can get your picture taken with Santa and there are give-aways for the kids. Me and lots of other local artists will be inside J.S. Reutz, so stop by and say hello (much closer than the airport, I know!) and maybe wrap up your holiday shopping and support local artists and crafters at the same time.

I’ll be having a special sale on both Friday and Saturday. You’ll have to be following me on Twitter though to know what it is, so if you aren’t yet, here’s the link to my Twitter. Watch for the special announcement Friday morning!

Lastly, X-mas is getting awfully close and there’s only about 1 week left to place special orders, so if you want to buy any special-order  handmade goodies, make sure you let me know by next Friday, otherwise I can’t promise it will reach you before Xmas!

Have a good weekend and STAY WARM! Seriously, could it be colder out?

Last night was a great night at the Cottage Home Block Party. I had a lot of fun setting up my table for Halloween tiles and regular tiles. I had some great sales and met a lot of new customers and round-the-corner neighbors. Towards the end of the evening some of my next-door neighbors and my husband came and hung out with me under my tent and we had a great time just hanging out and trying to stay warm. At the end of the night, I won the 50/50 raffle (yay!) and we all went out to Dorman Street for a few drinks to celebrate. Here are some pictures from the evening of the Block Party. Everyone in Cottage Home does such a great job decorating. It was a beautiful and fun time even though it was super cold! I’ll be looking forward to next year.
